The festival of color "holi" is back. Holi is one of the biggest festivals in India after Diwali. Every year Holi is celebrated in March. Holi for the year 2021 is celebrated/ observed on sundown of Sunday, March 28th ending at sundown on Monday, March 29th . Holi is celebrated across all parts of India but it is more famous in Mathura which is a part of Uttar Pradesh. In Mathura, the festival lasts for 16 days and is generally played with flowers. In large parts of India, the festival is celebrated with a lot of colors, water balloons, and water guns known as pichkaris. Parties are often organized across the country where people dance to music and cheers each other with colors. Sweets are an important part of the festival.
