Bhagat Singh is well known for his nature who showers his life for the freedom of India. Story of Freedom Fighter Bhagat Singh
Bhagat Singh was the one who wants to take revenge on Lala Lajpat Rai's death. Bhagat Singh thinks that James Scott Commander in British force is the one who is behind the death of Lala Lajpat Rai. Bhagat Singh and his associate Shivaram Rajguru shot a 21-year-old police office officer, John Saunders, in December 1928 by mistake.
After evading the British police for few months, Bhagat Singh and his associate Batukeshwar Dut arrived at the legislative assembly and caused explosions by detonating two bombs. Bhagat Singh's intention was not to harm anybody but to take action against the British government. After this incident, Bhagat Singh surrenders in front of British police officers. While in jail Bhagat Singh with his freedom fighter friend Jatin Das did the hunger strike but unfortunately, Jatin Das lost his life due to starvation in 1929, but Bhagat Singh somehow survived.
